GD and High amniotic fluid levels..

Hello everyone. I have GD and am currently 30 weeks pregnant. I had an u/s on the 11th at 28 + weeks and found that my amniotic fluid was too high at 22.9 They also found my doppler test to be alittle increased meaning the placenta and baby are working alittle harder to circulate nutrients and stuff. They said the doppler isnt a major concern its just alittle on the high side, but the fluid level is a concern. They re scanned me on the 16th and found my amniotic fluid was still high but not higher. They have said that in my case GD is prob. the cause. I am having weekly appointments, NST and u/s . They said if my fluid increases they may have to do an amnio to remove some fluid. I was wondering if anyone else is dealing with this issue or has in past pregnancies. I am so worried about the health of my baby and what the potential risk of high fluid are. (preterm labor, cord accident, placental abruption, cord prolaps..etc.) Any advise or encouragment is welcome.

    Thanks
    cindy

Hi Cindy, I was told today that my fluid was little on the high side. The Dr. said it is not a concern at this point (I'm almost 33 weeks) but that I really need to keep my blood sugar levels in check so that it doesn't get worse. I also have to go in every week for measurements/fluid checks and non stress tests. I hope you've received good news at this weeks appt.
