    Hi

Hi there! Another new member here too! I just had my three hour test today and all four levels were bad. I didn't get the results until later in the afternoon today. The Diabetes clinic is going to call tomorrow to set up an appt asap. They're going to try to control it with diet alone, but the nurse said my #'s were so bad that I'll probably need insulin. I'm so discouraged.

I'm 28 weeks pregnant with twins and on bedrest basically until the end of my pregnancy.

It is a shock and takes some adjusting but it is not as bad as it sounds and it is easier to control than you think.
I am on insulin and only have 3 weeks to go and hopefully this will all go away. If you have any questions please ask away here or PM us.

    Hugs

Sorry to welcome you here but it really isn't that bad. My numbers were really bad at my 3 hour test and they said I'd probably have to go on medication. But, I've been able to control it with diet thus far. It's an adjustment but if you keep the goal in mind it really helps. It will be over before you know it (just don't go visit any Cheesecake Factory's in the meantime - shear torture!).

    Take care.
