I did. My first (fresh) donor cycle was BFN, but the first frozen cycle was BFP and resulted in my son.

My donor had 22 eggs retrieved, and of those, 12 fertilized and grew.

I do not know what is considered "good"... quality is definitely more important than quantity though.

GOOD LUCK!

I was 38.

I have no idea why it didn't work the first time for me. I was pretty upset, because my RE had said I have a 70% chance of success using donor eggs, and I thought FOR SURE it would be the answer for me. So when it was BFN, I was devastated. I wondered if there was even any point in doing an FET because obviously more was wrong with me than I knew, but... it took! My son just turned 2.

I hope it works the first time for you too!

i got my donor's u/s results today #3, evrything looks good so told by my nurse my donor's follicles she has 6 on right side and 7 on left side. her estrogen level is at 5760. can someone tell me what all this means. my nurse said my donor has another u/s on wednesday, i also have an altrasound that day. my nurse said that it depends on that day when we will do the egg retrival. wish me luck

I don't know what the estrogen levels mean - my RE doesn't do that.

But it sounds like she has around 13 eggies at this point, which sounds great. She may end up with a couple more and of course, some of the follies may not have eggs or they may be unretrievable for some reason. But it is looking good!

Looks like you will definitely end up with enough for your cycle and will likely have some to freeze, which is great!

I look forward to seeing what happens next and to seeing how the ER goes!

You may want to go to the Infertility>Donor Issues (Egg and Sperm) board. There are lots more people on that board and some of them going through their cycles right now. It would be a great support system for you.
