Newbie with MTHFR and a question
My name is Audrey and after 1 live birth and 4 miscarriages (the last one being an ectopic where I lost a part of my tube) I was tested for and came up positive for MTHFR amd also the Anticardiolpin Antibody. My doctor called in a prescription for folic acid (I was assuming it was Folgard) but when I picked it up, it was Foltrin. Anyone else on this? I was originally prescribed this same drug for anemia so I am confused. I also cannot locate how much folic acid is in this particular drug. I called my OB and couldn't get past her staff who assured me that it was the same thing as Folgard but I am not convinced.
