X-linked diagnosis?

Anyone have a x-linked diagnosis? Waiting to hear if my son had x-linked hydrocephalus due to aqueductal stenosis to which I would be the carrier of the x defect.

If you had a x-linked, what happened, did you TTC again and what precautions did you take?

Melissa,

I don't know if I can help you but I have an x-linked genetic disorder (not the same as you might be looking for) that I have done PGD 2x for and I am in the middle of my third cycle. I have known about my carrier status since I was very young so I am pretty well versed on how it works, what PGD can do, etc.

PM me if you'd like.

Amy

UPDATE----

Ryan's genetic tests, the ones testing for the x-linked gene mutation, the ones I was possibly a carrier of, the ones that werent supposed to be back until Jan 27th, the ones that would determine if we had to do IVF with gender selection well they came back TODAY!!!
and guess what they were NEGATIVE!!!!

It wasnt x-linked, I'm not a carrier and the chances of it happening again are 4% per the counselor this morning!!
