Newbie - lots of questions and genetic issues (pg and mc mentioned)

I am new to this group, and have no experience posting, so please bear
with me if I am not following proper protocol.

Quick history -
Never gotten pregnant spontaneously
4 IUI's with ovulation induction - did not work
1st IVF - early miscarriage
2nd IVF (06) - healthy daughter born, possible twin miscarriage
3rd IVF - negative
4th IVF - negative
5th (April) IVF - miscarriage

After doing my own research, I had many of the tests from Dr. Beer's
book run by my OBGYN, since my RE said they were not necessary (HA!).

My protein S activity reflex was 37 which is low and out of range. I am positive for Lupus Anticoagulant.

ANA Choice screen came back positive, the titer pattern and IFA titer was abnormal. Speckled Titer 1:640 and Homogeneous at 1:160

I am also homogeneous for the MTHFR A1298C mutation.

I have done aspirin through all treatments, and that was obviously not enough. I know that I should be on Lovenox and steroids for future pregnancies. After reading through these posts, it looks like Folgard should be in my future as well.

Anything I am missing? Is it even safe for me to try to have another child?? I just want to be here for my daughter that I do have, and would be curious if anyone has been told that it is better if they went the route of surrogacy or adoption by their doctors?? Has anyone had PGD suggested to them? Most importantly, has anyone been able to treat these aforementioned disorders without IVF?

Thank you for any light you can shed on this for me. I am meeting with a new RE tomorrow and hope to get more info from them, but have learned I better darn well do my own leg work.
