re: folic acid

In my case my MD prescribed 4mg folic acid as well as 250mcg B12 and 50mg B6. My ob prescribed this for a homozygous MTHFR 1298 mutation found after an early miscarriage. Apparently, I have the less common, and the less severe mutation.
