Baby bump seems smaller & tons of energy..worried

    Hi,

I was just wondering if you can not feel pregnant and have tons of energy all the sudden and baby still be ok. Im 17 wks and after feeling fatigue (especially in the late afternoon, early evening)..I feel great, no more dizziness and out of breathlessness...and my bump looks smaller. Im just worried..and I dont have another u/s until Aug 13th. H/B check only in a week.
I woke up with a tummy ache. But just worry is this normal to feel not pregnant???
    Hope someone has similar experience...

Or can the baby just move down lower so that the bump moves down lower or the uterus drops lower (to make my bump look smaller?)...
    Just worried...

    Ann

You're nicely into the 2nd trimester now, so it's normal for all the pesky side effects of the first trimester to be gone.

And for the size of the bump, yes, the baby can flip around and make your bump change size and location too.

If you are really stressing about it, call your OB's office and ask if someone can see you a little earlier. Most places are sympathetic if you're willing to squeeze in.

Yup because he/she can be head up, head down, or totally sideways, squishing your belly all around.

It's totally normal for your baby bump to change shape/size. It all depends on the position on the baby.

Also since you are in the second trimester, it is likely you will start to feel better. Typically the fatigue will come back in the 3rd trimester, so try to get as much done while you are feeling good!
