    At how many wks can you detect HB on Doppler?

    Hi,

    I was going to get a doppler. But dont want to get it until Im at the stage where you can actually here the HB. I am 10 weeks, so am anxious to hear our babies HB's.

    Any info welcome,

    It depends on your weight and the position of your uterus. I was typically able to hear around 13 weeks. My ob didn't even try to listen until 14 weeks. I've known some women on here say they can hear it earlier than that though.

    Thanks Dawn, I guess I'll wait a few more weeks...ugh, so anxious...just hope my little beans are ok...no u/s for a month.

    Personally, I'd be too nervous if I didn't pick up the h/b due to my own faulty operation. I think you might have a good shot of getting a strong h/b in the next few weeks.

    PTL at 32 weeks: Pre-E, Proteinuria, GD Insipidus
    B/G twins born at 36 weeks!

    for me it was sometime between 13 & 14 weeks...i tried at 12-13 weeks and didn't hear anything...then a few days later heard it volume maxed. good luck!
    me: 37, unexplained, short luteal phase
    dh: 33, borderline low sc

    jan/feb: medicated cycle with folllistim
    feb 2: trigger shot feb 3/4: b2b iui's
    feb 12: 9dpo faint +hpt !!!!
    feb 16th (13dpiui): beta 96
    feb 26th (23 dpo): 8000+
    mar 4th (30dpo): 36000+
    mar 7th: 1st u/s -- sweet heartbeat 125!!!

    At 9.5 weeks, I could catch it for just a moment or two. After 11 weeks, it was very consistent.
    Me:33 DH:34 TTC#1 Aug'08
    Oct'08: D&C missed
    Feb'09: Hysteroscopic resection, septated uterus.
    May'09: D&C missed after excellent betas & heartbeats. Turners Syn. RPL Panel-clear.
    Aug'09-Dec 09: Clomid/GonalF IUIs, failed.
    Mar'10: Taking mental break, BFP
    Beautiful DD 11/24/10
    Jan'12: chemical
    May'12: IUI gonalf. BFP
    Due date: Feb 4, 2013
