Hi ladies, I "graduated" from the May IVF class of 2012! : ) However, now worried. 3 great beta's and our first U/S is Tuesday, but last night I started bleeding. Not a lot, but more than spotting. Not red, but pinkish. I was so happy I wasn't having any bleeding I thought I was moving right along. RE office called me back just now and said it's common in early pregnancy due to the baby having to build a blood connection to me, and that the cervix can be sensitive to bleeding at this time. But I love hearing from you all, it calms my fears...
(no cramping, yet) Any encouraging words?

I had pink spotting that became red for two weeks (between six and eight weeks) after I stopped crinone. Pregnancy was fine. The rule of thumb is cramping and bleeding through two pads in an hour is cause for concern. Otherwise hang in there it does settle. Good luck.

Jen: I had bleeding after my IVF w/DD and honestly, had multiple episodes until almost 10 weeks and she remained picture perfect! My RE had said it is VERY common after IF treatements like IVF to get bleeding. I then had a spontaneously natural pg w/ my DS and had VERY SCARY bleeding which was red and heavy, and he is perfect as well! This natural miracle I am carrying now not only did I have spotting but cramping in addition and I am now almost 23 weeks...I know bleeding is so scary but rest assured it is more normal than not bleeding it seems! Good luck w/ur U/S on Tuesday and keep us posted!

jen - thinking of you and sending many positive thoughts. I had bright red bleeding at 6 wks 4 days with DS#2. Went in for an u/s the next day and saw a beautiful HB. I ended up having a small hematoma and I spotted pinkish/brownish for several weeks thereafter until it finally resolved itself. Good luck tomorrow hun and keep us posted.

jen,
Just like your doc said, bleeding is very common early in pregnancy. I know lots of women, myself included, who experienced bright red bleeding related to a SCH. I'd say pink is nothing to worry about. Just keep your eyes peeled in case it picks up or changes to red bleeding. Wishing you a happy & healthy pregnancy!
