When do nausea symptoms finally go away?

    Hi all,

When does this nausea finally go away? I am a little over 9 weeks and I cannot take this nausea anymore. I am not vomiting; but even drinking water makes my stomach turn. Everything makes me ill except cereal. I cannot keep eating cereal everyday! Do the symptoms go away immediately or little by little? This nausea even wakes me up at night. Its terrible. Uggg...

    Thanks
    Dani

My stopped right at 13 weeks. It came back for a few days at around 17 weeks, then wemt away again. It was a love/hate thing with morning sickness because it sucked but ite also meant that i was still having pregnancy symptroms! Hang in there!

Mine didn't go away completely until about 16 weeks. It seemed to gradually get better starting around week 14 though.

Dani - sounds like you have intractable nausea. So sorry hun. I am there with you.

At 11ish weeks, it went from every second of every day to just several hours. Now at 13w2d it is there some days and some days not.

So for me, it is going away little by little.

Please ask your OB first, but my OB recommends B6 vitamins and Unisom at night if it is waking you up.

I also had luck with the B-natal therapops. When I had two a day, it was always better the next day. You can order them from the site below:

Thank you all!! I actually had to take the day off from work today because I was so nauseous this morning. I havent been able to get real sleep until last week. I am exhausted. I did go out today though and get some sea bands. I heard they should ward off the nausea. I am not sure if its psychosymatic but I put them on and I am not really nauseous... yet.... I am going to wear them all night to see if they will help me sleep.

I am still nauseous at 20 weeks, but the worst of it (including the exhaustion) was over by 14 weeks. (I had to take weeks 8-14 off from work.) Now, taking half a Unisom pill three times a day is enough to ward off the remaining nausea.

Dani, ask your doctor for Zofran. It helps a lot of women with their nausea. I am on my 14th week now and I notice that the gagging starts to go away. Hangin there. I feel your pain. I was like you too. Drinking water made me sick and I can only eat cereal.

I will call the OB tomorrow and ask him for some options if I can take anything for the nausea. These Sea bands DO NOT work at all. I was probably having a good night last night. Today I was so sick. I am so hungry but everything I look at is making me sick.
