How Big is Baby's Penis???

Hi Ladies! I had my 20 week u/s last week and although we didn't wanna find out, the dr. gave us a picture of the baby's profile and it looks like there's a little penis sticking up!!! I'm sure he didn't realize he gave it to us, he gave us so many pictures that day. But I was just curious if anyone else has a side view of their baby boy and his little penis is sticking up. My husband said it could be the other leg, but it doesn't look like a leg to me!!! Thanx Girls!!!

post a pic & we can help you. Otherwise if your talking about a profile view more than likely your seeing leg, arm or umbilical cord sticking out. The penis typicall ycan only be seen in the legs spread open view

Chances are, Dr. would be careful about what pics he gave you! I've never seen a gender shot from the profile view. They've always been from the underneath side.

Here's our gender pic for our boy at nearly 19 weeks. The arrow points to the penis, with his chubby leg up above and his but to our left.

we were told that if it is a boy it looks like a little turtle between their legs.

I had a pic of my DS around the same time. The cord was visible and my dumb SIL swore it must be a penis. She was 100% convinced after that pic that we were having a boy. I told her it may very well be a boy, or a girl, but the pic was the cord. It really was! But anyway... it ended up being a boy. And SIL thought she was right.
But it was sooo not the penis! So, anyway... I don't know the answer, but I imagine it would be pretty tiny, though with some variation.

Thanx Ladies! I'm going to ask my SIL if she has a scanner so I can download the picture--that's a good idea!! If you go to this link, my picture looks just like it!! LOL My dh said the same thing, why would they give us that picture, but they took over a 100 pictures that day and I said he probably didn't realize he took one with that--if of course that's what it really is. Thanx again!!!

We had an u/s at 18 weeks for my son Owen (who we lost at 20 wks to I/C). Anyway it was clear the little 2 bumps and tiny stick showed he was a boy. I'm sorry you found out when you wanted it to be a secret. We're hoping not to find out this time.
