Spotting Poll y/n - and intro, I'm newly pg. and bleeding and looking for reassurance

Well, here I am. My very first post on a pg. board! I can't believe I'm about to write this - my beta today 11dp3dt was 116. BUT, it's hard to truly enjoy my first ever BFP because of the bleeding I have been having.

Pardon the TMI, but here goes nothing - at 8dp3dt, my second pg. test had just turned positive, and I wiped, and blood! Bright red. Not a ton, but after about 5 wipes, it was gone. Then later that day brown, which I know means old, and it's been going on ever since. Everyday, brown. And cramping - goodness gracious cramping.

I did a search for bleeding and cramping posts, but I didn't quite get what I was after.........
.
.
.
.
ETA - this pregnancy resulted in a beautiful singleton baby boy!

Stace,
Congrats..... I had brown spotting from 6w3d pg to about 8 wks and I'm currently 14w4d pg with triplets. You tend to spot more with multiples.
Keep us posted

I am no longer on this board. I graduated and my little miracle is sleeping in the next room . I saw this post and could relate so much to what you are going through. Early on in my preg, I had spotting and cramping. Actually the cramping was how I knew I was pregnant because I was cramping but no AF. I too was desperately looking for reassurance and saw lots for the spotting but none for cramping. Well I am here now to tell you that I had both and ended up with a very healthy, easy pregnancy. I hope this helps.

As you know already I had spotting/bleeding, and cramping. I don't know if it was caused by the fact that I started with twins, or that I had a heterotopic pg. Either way, I did have a successful outcome 9 months later with the birth of Jackson.

Well, surely you see my posts- there had to be tens of them- about cramping and bleeding. I cramped for several weeks, hard to remember exactly how many but I know it was at least to 16 weeks! I just KNEW I was mc'ing every day and didn't allow myself to enjoy the pg and now I wish I had. Please try to enjoy it and take it day by day. Right now you have a very healthy beta# and the odds are in your favor

Warmly,
Susanne

Stacie, I responded to your post on the ivf board also but I just wanted to say again CONGRATULATIONS!!! The clinic is on a roll! I had spotting/bleeding/cramping off and on from BEFORE my first beta, which they did do early, btw. I know I am not out of the woods yet (10w1d) But I had had multiple "normal" ultrasounds. Hang in there. I know it's hard. I thought everyday (like Susanne said above) that today would be the day that I would m/c. I have been wrong every day so far. My cramps are just like a period! Have the FAITH!!! Jenn

Spotted daily from week 4 till week 9. It was due to a low-lying placenta (which corrected on its own). Your doc will be able to tell if this is the problem when you get your first u/s. Congrats!
