    Tylenol during the first trimester?

I have had a horrible headache for two days now and am afraid to take anything for it. I have some extra strength tylenol gelcaps and just wondered if anyone else had used these during the first trimester. I'd love to take them to try to relieve this pain but don't want to do anything to hurt my babies (I'm already paranoid because I have been using an eye cream each night that has retinol in it until I just found out that it's a no no during pregnancy). I just want to do whatever I need to do to have healthy babies. Thanks so much for your advice!

They say you can take 650mg every 4 hours of tylenol-NOT advil. Here is a good site: http://www.pregnancy-info.net/meds_d...pregnancy.html

    Hope that helps and congrats!!

yes, tylenol is really the only thing most OB's recommend. hopefully it works for you, cuz tylenol never even touched my headaches.

Yes, Tylenol is fine. In the 1st trimester of my pregnancy, I had the absolute worst headache, it lasted for a few days. I called the OB and they prescribed Tylenol with Codene for me. So, if it doesn't get better, I'd try calling the dr, maybe they can give you something stronger. I hope your headache goes away quickly!

When i was pg i didn't want to take anything either. I was told i could take tylenol if it was bad. What i was doing if i felt one coming on i would put vicks vapour rub on my forehead and found that worked really well for me somethimes it would work better then tylenol. A girl at work told me she used tiger palm on her forehead when she would get really bad ones and she said it worked well for her. I never tried this one.

I hope this help and your headache goes away.
