Hi everyone,
Ijust found out last week i was pregnant, 6 wks now....my husband and i have been trying 10months, 4 months ago dx w/ pcos and did clomid the last four months...
...But my question is, has anyone had backache this early in pregnancy? I have a 2 yr old dd, but i dont remember it with her, well not til later. Im just soo scared of m/c.....wanting another baby for 10months and i just want everything to be ok. I bled at 8wks for a month w/my first and never found out why, but things continued fine after the bleeding. So this time every little twinge is making me nervous, but im trying sooo hard not to worry and just pray for the best.
Well if anyone has had backache or know if its normal, or ok please let me know, maybe ill feel better knowing its not a bad sign...
thank you
Livi

It's normal. Your uterus is already starting to grow and rearrange things down there. This can put pressure on the sciatic nerve. I had a lower back ache pretty early with my first DD and sometimes pain running down my legs. With my other pgcys it did come until later. It just all depends on how everything is positioned, so it will vary from woman to woman and pgcy to pgcy.

I had some back pain in the beginning. Some of it was because all of sudden I get pregnant and my chair at work bothered me but I did have some sharp pains also and was scared. Well I am now 21 weeks. I think with everything growing you feel achy all over.

i'm 13w3d & still having back pain. I have a 2 1/2 yo boy & large (*)(*) so I am sure that contributes a small amount.
I asked my OB about it at my lst appt & he told me to take Motrin (i told him tylenol SUCKS!) during my 2nd tri only if it helps with my back..
i bled with my ds from week 6 to week 11 with no rhyme or reason (he was IVF#2). had no bleeding with this one but morning sickness. that's a whole 'nother story
Hope all is well !!!!Me (32) Dh (32)
