Absence of early pg symptoms

Girls,
I have question for the been there done that group. I'm from the IUI Board.

My question is about early pregnancy symptoms. I'm one week post IUI. I am to go in for a beta NEXT Sunday if I don't start before then. I'm on baby aspirin, Heparin, and progesterone (early miscarriage history). I had five eggs this time and the risk for multiples was very discussed and very much a possibility they said. I am kind of suprised I have no pg. symptoms and feel no different. So far with every IUI I've gotten pg. but lose it early. Last time I made it to 6 weeks. Last time I remember clearly breast tenderness and nausea before the beta. And, I do know that could be progesterone too causing those symptoms. I'm just a little discouraged that I don't feel any different and am beginning to think it must not have worked. Do you all know if you always have those symptoms with each pregnancy. I do know I had NO symptoms at all with DD five years ago. Just curious if each time is different...trying to prepare myself for a negative beta I guess.

hi, I had no symptoms until around 6 - 8 weeks. So, it is way too early! Best wishes to you! Keep us posted!

Hi,

I had no symptoms until 2 days after my +beta, when I became nauseated by Chinese food! Give it more time, and best of luck to you. I am very sorry about your losses

yes, each time definitely is different. i've always gotten typical AF symptoms in the 2ww. when i was pg with dd i did get more symtoms in the 2ww than my other pg's. i've always gotten sore bb's pre AF too, so it didn't tip me off.

also keep in mind that normal implantation time is anywhere between 6-12 dpo. you're still in that window. if conception did occur, there's still a possibility you haven't implanted yet. it's not until after inplantation occurs that the body starts producing hcg. THAT'S when you might get some early symptoms. so don't get discouraged yet! hang in there.

good luck! hope to see you here real soon!

I am also on ba and Fragmin injections (low molecular Heparin) and had sometimes few pg symptoms but ended in 3 early m/c (without the meds). My 2 successful pg on the meds (dd almost 3yrs and now 24 wks pg with dd #2) I had no symptoms at all. And I still don't have any. If it was not for my u/s and eventually growing belly, I could not even tell that I was pg! So try not to worry, as all pg are different and feel blessed that you don't have any symptoms as they can hit you like a ton of brick any day....
