Possible to pee out your amniotic fluid?

This is a crazy question but does anyone know if your amniotic fluid can come out through your urine? I'm 34 wks pregnant and pee ALL the time. I drink TONS of water though and the baby is low - pushing on my bladder. My urine is usually clear due to all the water....I just suddenly worried my amniotic fluid could be leaking out this way.....any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think that is impossible. It would somehow have to make it into your urethra in order to leak out that way, and I am pretty sure that your urethra is only accessible via the bladder. Bladders are sensitive, you are probably just going so much because it is being compressed.
Ask your OB to be sure, but it seems pretty unlikely to me.

no that's not possible. this is all normal stuff for where you are in pg. it's a good thing when ypur urin is clear. it's a good sign of hydration!

P.S. if you were leaking amniotic fluid you would feel it. it would dribble out at any given time, not when you went to the bathroom.

I'm almost 37 weeks and I pee around once an hour (sometime 2 hours), even in he middle of the night! It can be maddening at times. Sometimes I'll go and then have to go again 5 minutes later! Ugg!

I know what you mean - I can go 2x an hour or even 10 min. after a trip to the bathroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck!

I think the only way to pee it out is if you are dehydrated..your body will absorb some Amniotic Fluid and you could possibly pee it out, other than that NO!

Your bladder is just getting more pressure on it!

when i was leaking little bits here and there-my doc said that the urine would smell like ammonia and the amniotic would smell sweet-he was right!
