Cruise with toddler - did you do it? Any tips?

Ladies, we booked a cruise on Carnival Glory to New England/Canada. We went to Alaska and the Caribbean by ourselves before but this is the first time we are going with our daughter.
    Any tips/suggestions?
I want to purchase medical/evacuation insurance - can you recommend an insurance company that does it?

    Thanks

We went to Newfoundland when DS#2 was almost 11 mths old. It was only a crossing of about 7 hours and it was torture. More for me because I literally hate boats of any kind. I was a little freaked but DS#2 spent most of his time in the stroller.

I have no advice for you on a cruise but I would look into one of those strap thingys that goes around there torso/waist and around your wrist. Maybe something for an upset tummy and no idea about insurance. I hope you have an awesome time.

No advice for cruising with a toddler, have not done that, but I can recommend Travelguard for trip insurance. We always use them for trip insurance, and one year we had to cancel a trip due to medical reasons. All of our expenses were reinbursed without any problems whatsoever.

We went on a Carnival cruise (Mexican Riveria) when my twins were 3 yo. It was great. We checked them into the kid club a couple times during the day, for about an hour at a time. They had fun activies for them. They give you a pager and will call you for any issues. We got a room with a balcony, so when my girls were down for a nap, I was able to sit outside and relax, though we did miss the evening entertainment. Overall, we had a great trip.

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.
