Pimple like Mole on back of Leg
Hi All! I have this large pimple like mole (at least I think it's a mole) on the back of my leg, below my knee. I've had it for awhile, at least a year or so, but with having kids and stuff, I kinda forgot about it. But I know I've knicked it while shaving, and it would bleed...this was when it first appeared...and I guess I never really thought about it. Now I'm kinda worried. Has anyone else ever had anything like this. I have a call in to the dermotologist, and will hopefully hear aback tomorrow. Thanx in advance!

I have two, only they are larger than a pimple. One on each leg. One right below my knee to the side and the other down below it. I haven't ever had them checked, but everything I have seen on the internet doesn't make me think it is skin cancer. IDK

Go to the derm and they will probably remove it. Almost any raised bump or growth would bleed if nicked with a razor, so that's not alarming. If it bled without a cause, that would be a bad sign. I have dots and spots all over my body and very fair sensitive skin, but my dermatologist only removed the one that looked different from most of the others, she called it the "ugly duckling". If most of your spots are color X and this one is color Y (like a lot darker or lighter), that's something to be aware of.
My removed spot was like a dark freckle (I have much odder looking spots that the dr wasn't concerned about), and the lab results classified it as "neutral" where they used to call them "precancerous". The dr said maybe it would turn into cancer, maybe it wouldn't, but you don't want to find out if it DOES turn into cancer by leaving it on your body.
