So, I got a TB screening test 6 years ago.
The school wants everyone to do one if they volunteer in the classroom. Okay fine.
Some are saying I just need to prove I had one 6 years ago and others are saying it is only good for 1 year.
To me, it makes sense to have to retest frequently as you could be exposed to TB next week and have it and so what if the test came back last week as NEG.
KWIM?

In the medical field, we have to get tested yearly. Even patients admitted to a nursing home have to get tested twice, one week apart, upon admission as exposure can take place at anytime.

Yearly here.
FWIW, Mom was just talking about this tonight when we came home from our vax. She said there are more & more ppl testing pos. for TB. Many are immigrants, but others are those who have been in contact with or work with immigrants. I think she said there have been 4 pos. tests through the clinic at which she works just this past week alone. (Two had been traveling out of country, one was someone new to Canada & one was someone who worked with recent immigrants fairly closely)Kristin single mom to
