    squeaking/squealing noises in newborn?

so, my baby is 12 days old. she is very noisy.... she like squeaks/squeals alot. It doesn't sound like its out of discomfort usually, just when she's hanging out or trying to fall asleep. I would not say its a grunting noise.

Is this normal?? I don't remember my DS (2 yrs. old) doing this.. at least not so much where I thought it was a bit odd?

    TIA!

Very normal. All of the little squeaks and baby noises is one of the things I miss the most about a newborn. Enjoy her and congrats!

Yep... absolutely normal! DS is still squeaking and squealing plus now we get cooing and so on....

We had a safari of noises when my two were tiny (miss it actually), if they are not grunting/panting - it's normal.
