Best way to freeze cookies? (x-post)

I finally found a good recipe for sugar cookies that I could use. Last week I made frosting for them, and they were a big hit. Today I made them into snickerdoodles, and I made a double batch. Any tips on freezing them? I'm not sure if I should just put them all in a big Gladware thing, or grab several Ziploc bags and put a few in each one. Or whatever else I could do with them.

Any tips? I would likely be thawing just a few at a time, so my ds could enjoy these gluten-free, vegan-style snickerdoodles. (he has a ton of allergies)

I can tell you that I buy the sixpacks of homemade chocolate chip cookies for my DH at Whole Foods, put two each into separate freezer bags, and freeze them. Every day or two I take a bag out so DH has "fresh" chocolate chip cookies. But if the cookies didn't clump together when frozen you could get one or two out of a larger bag and do it that way. See what the other ladies have to say.

my mom is a huge baker and she freezes alot. If she is freezing small batches, she puts them in freezer bags with some wax paper in between (so they dont stick to each other).

double bag them. The more you can wrap them the better.

When I make a double batch of any cookie dough, I use a scooper to make the dough balls, put them on a plate and freeze them. Once frozen I label and bag them. when you want fresh cookies you put them on a bake sheet for 10-15 minutes to thaw and bake as normal.

i bake and freeze everything! if you think they'll be eaten within a month or so then i'd just double bad them.

for lengthier stays in the freezer i layer them in tupperwares with either saran or wax paper in between. i usually save the saran for the ones that i expect to be frozen the longest. only because it's more clingy and keeps more of the air as opposed to the wax paper.

I freeze snickerdoodles during the holidays. I just put them in a big freezer bag and they do fine. Sometimes I put them in a freezer friendly container with wax paper between them. I only freeze them for a month at most but usually less. I bake and freeze, bake and freeze, and then pull it all out at the end. By the way, they never stick together, not even when I put them all in a freezer bag.
