I think my child may have the largest feet in the world right now for a girl her age! She will be 9 on December 21st and she is wearing a 6.5 (women's obviously) shoe! So, please tell me she isn't all that odd by telling me some of your DDs have feet like hers!

WOW~! I dont know about girls vs boys but I know my ds (almost 8) is only in a size 1 at this point...I cant imagine going up that much in a year! ...I know with me, I was wearing a size 5 by 3rd grade and am now a size 10 (and I am not that tall)...

I have tall kids.. DD turned 8 in June.. I just bought shoes for school.. Shoes are size 4.5 and sneakers were a 5.. (If anything, considering her height they should be bigger, she is 4 ft 9 inches)

My 8yo wears size 1...
My big girls wear sizes 2 and 3, but my 3yo wears a size 10 already. Just perfect the way they are.

I was wearing size 6 when I was Kenzies age and rounded up to a 10 by the age of 12, and I have been a 10 since. She is probably going to be a tall beautiful girl... and you still can get very cute shoes in a 10...!! (Tell her Paris Hilton has a size 10 foot!!)

Doing the math (I dont' have a 8-9 year old daughter), my feet were on par with hers at that age. In 2nd grade (so age 7) I wore a size 5. I went up a size a year until I hit a size 10 in 7th grade. That's what I still wear
I was very, very tall (the only kids taller than me out of my class of 120 are now 6'4-6'5" each). I'm still tall.

Mikaela is 8 1/2 and wears size 2 1/2 to 3.
My cousin's little girl is 7 1/2 and she can wear a lady's size 6 in flip flops. I'd say she wears a size 5 in tennis shoes because she just gave Mikaela a pair of her old ones that she outgrew that are size 4. Miakela will have to wait a bit before they fit her.
It is funny because she gives me all of her shoes for Mikaela and I hand down all of Mikaela's clothes to her. She is smaller than Mikaela but just has bigger feet, and hands too, lol.Ang, SAHM to dd Mikaela (IVF/ICSI #1) - born 1/00
