About LinkBacksI am out of children's advil and Alyssa is feeling crummy. Her dose is 2 teaspoons (200 mg) which is the same as one tablet. She can swallow it no problem, any reason I can't do this? Thanks

Any reason that a 7 year old can't take a regular advil?

I would go for it. I sometimes take their chewables if I don't have any of mine on hand.
The same mg should be fine.
I would give it to her with lots of water and some food, it may upset her stomach more than the childrens....not sure why I think that though, probably just because it can be tough on tummies. That's what I would do anyway!

U can give it if she knows how to swallow, the only thing is I think the liquid would work faster thats all.

Yes! Our ped said Sierra could take one regular adult ibuprofen (200mg)

I don't know... I guess if the dosage is ok... but I would call your pharmacist just to be sure you are dosing correctly... they are the experts...
