Playtex are the only ones we use. I tried a bunch of different brands and all the rest leaked. Playtex are the only ones I've found that are truly spill proof. The way I get away from the water spraying everywhere is that I have a little container that has a spot on top to hold the valves and a drawer in the bottom to hold the lids. So, when they come out of the dishwasher, they go in there in pieces and then we put them together as we use them (and they are dry).

I have 15 of these cups [we lost one somewhere along the way]. I actually got rid of all of my other sippy cups about 2 years ago....I won't say they never leak, but it is few and far between.

    Good luck!

I have about 8 of these cups, and two leaked right out of the package. I had another cup that had a valve and I cant recall who made it, but if you smacked the cup down on the table as 2 year olds do, the valve oppped right off and the drink went everywhere. I find this out 10 minutes into a day long trip. Luckily I had a change of clothes for DS.
