Dh has been called and gone through secondary screening on a few occasions. (We are both registered in the bone marrow donor registry). Well, he got a call today that he and another man are matches for a 60 year old gentleman. Apparently, the other guy is a slightly better match but they have some concerns about him (not sure what) so they are requesting a back up donor. So, dh is on standby for this ill man. If he gets called he will have to fly to a city that has a way of retrieving bone marrow peripherally and that should take place within the next week or two.
Please pray that dh or the other guy is able to help this ill man.![]()

That is awesome. I have been in the registry for about 8 years but have never been called.
Well aren't you just the most adorable black hole of need.

Wow, how cool. To be able to save a life, with little pain or trouble, awesome.
