I tried to get into the registry last time I gave blood but since I answered that I had back trouble on the questionnaire I was rejected. They said it had to do with the procedure to retrieve the marrow that could make back problems worse

What a blessing your DH can provide! I've been registered for 15+ years (and was a preliminary match years back and went through more blood testing), but have never gotten the "final" call...
