    Cost of private speech therapy?

I know this will be different regionally, but could you tell me what private speech therapy costs in your area?

    Thanks!

I think it was around $40/hour here with the private SLP that Jordan saw. I know I it was much more reasonably priced than occupational therapy ($93/hr).

I think I was paying around $95.00 per 1/2 hour or 40 minute session about 3 - 4 years ago. Insurance paid for the "first sixty days" not sixty sessions. good luck.

In Northern NJ, private ST(non-hopsital setting) will run you anywhere from $75 -95 per 1/2 hour session. 1 hour session anywhere from $130-160. These are self pay rates, no insurance involved.

The practice we went to charged $115 per session, whether it was 45 or 50 minutes. We did OT there also and the rates were the same. If you came in through early intervention you could get their contract rate which is $75.

I just checked into this, the consult was $300 with each visit being $100.00...i thought the visit was an hour long, but I could be mistaken.

I believe where my DD went for her feeding therapy with an SLP it was billed to insurance at the rate of $130/half hour. Self pay patients were 30% less then that.

My DD went to Our Children's House of Baylor at their location in Allen Texas (noticed that you are from Frisco, TX).
