How Do you Get Water Stains off Chrome Fixtures?

Our shower chrome fixture has what seems to be permanent hard water stains on them. No matter what cleaner I use, they don't come off. Does anyone know of anything that might remove them?

Thanks for your suggestions in advance!

Try carwax....wax on, wax off and hopefully the water stains will go, too!

Have you tried the scrubbing bubbles soap scum remover? That always gets mine so clean...another thing you could try is vinegar or try scrubbing it with a damp cloth and baking soda. I recently got hard water off my kitchen faucet with the baking soda thing. That stuff cleans everything! lol

I have those same water stains on my glass shower door. I use a Mr Clean Eraser on them.

The only thing is, you're not supposed to use the Mr. Clean eraser on chrome fixtures, otherwise I'd have used it by now. It's awesome on my fiberglass shower, though! I'm going to try the other suggestions here to see if they work.

    Thanks for the suggestions, ladies!

    Vinegar!

It's the greatest thing for hard water stains. I clean practically my whole bathroom w/ it. The smell isn't the greatest, but you can't beat the results (and the value)!

Also, when you are trying to finish up and shine everything. Pledge gives an extra shine (not the stuff with lemon oil). If you read the back, it includes chrome, marble, granite, etc.) I use it to polish everything now.

I like vinager, too. But if they are really tough, CLR or limeaway works well too.

I was going to suggest CLR, lime-away, kaboom, etc. too. The water marks are most likely lime, so any product that says it removes lime scale should work.
