I came down with the yeasty beasties over the weekend, and just last night before going to bed used the Monistat 1 ovule insert. I'm feeling a bit better, but not completely normal yet. Still feeling quite irritated down there, but not as itchy. (sorry if TMI) Yeast infections are not something I'm used to having, so don't know what to expect as far as getting over it. We were out of town over the weekend, otherwise I would have just had my doctor called in a prescription for Diflucan like I've done before. TIA for any answers!

My doctor actually recommended me using the Monistat because it was cheaper due to my insurance. I used the ovule insert before I went to bed and by the morning, I was a whole lot better. Be sure to use the cream as well to help with your itching. Good luck! I hate yeast infections.

I can't help as I've always either used the three or seven day treatments (per my OB). Hope you feel better soon!

I just got over a yeast infection and it took about 3 days for me to feel normal. I generally use the 1 day ovules. I find that I can still feel it working/melting during the 3 days. Be sure to use the cream as well to cool the itching

I've never bothered with the one day inserts. I've always found that it takes at least the 3 days ones to get over the infection. Hopefully 1 day works great for you.

Three days. For me, it seemed to get worse before it got better.
