Does anyone else have this?

It's been almost 4mo. since my mother passed away. And, tonight I'm so homesick for my mom. I almost feel like I did as a child when I'd get homeshick away from home. It's so heavy on me tonight. I want my mom sooooo bad!

Anyone else have grief hit them like this at times?

Yes. It's just over five years since loosing my Mom and I get the same feeling some days.

I feel that way often! My mother passed away when I was 17 years old,13 years ago. And I still miss her all of the time. When something happens I wish I could call her and talk to her about it. It is very hard. I do not think that it ever goes away.

yes, i too still miss my mom terribly & sometimes have a physical pain inside. my mom passed away unexpectedly last june. i found her in the bathroom & she was already gone. i have been to therapy which did not really help at the time. i may go again when i am ready to deal with the emotions involved in going thru the whole grieving process. some days are better than others. i try to stay focused on my kids & try to live my life the way she did. i think it takes a long time to come to grips with the loss of someone close to us & everyone deals with it differently. be gentle with yourself. i will keep you in my thoughts & prayers.
