my mil passed away. I was very close to her and miss her very much. Although it has been 9 years. It seems like it was yesterday. She was such a special person to me. She treated me like her daughter from the first day I met her. Her death was sudden apparently from a massive heart attack at age 52. I think why this was so hard for dh and myself. We didn't have our chance to say goodbye. Plus, dh blamed himself for a long time because we were suppose to go see her the night she died and we got busy and didn't make it over there. He thought that if we were there, she would still be here. It also makes it harder that his dad and sister having nothing to do with us either. A good friend said that Ken not only lost is mother, but his whole family.
