I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and they saw 1 heartbeat and 2nd gestational sac with no fetal pole or heartbeat yet. Doc said one may just be developing slower or may not be viable. This happen to anyone else? Ultrasound tech thought it could go either way. Has anyone successfully had twins develop at different rates like this?

Laylah: Im sure women will weigh in here for you after work, or whatever, I just wanted to drop you a line to say that while I never had twins, I do know of a woman whose baby B had a very faint and slower heart rate than baby A for quite a while and both were viable. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your beans.
