The thing with Eli is that is the name our wedding photographer named his son, though his wife was only 4 -5 months along when we got married in 2004 (she was his assistant). After he did our wedding, he stopped doing wedding photography and went into graphic arts and IT type stuff and moved to Miami. Six months after our wedding, when Eli was 4 months old, they were in a car accident, head on, that killed our photographer. He was 25 and his widow 22. Baby Eli was 4 months old. Wife and baby lived. We were his last wedding. We wouldn't name our son after Aj's Eli, but it has a fondness for us. Brad wasn't incredibly close to AJ, but he was a good friend and an amazing example of integrity and Godliness that Brad looked up to. The name Eli always makes me smile and I'd feel honored to name my child the same name AJ chose for his son.
I dont follow much football lol but thats probably where I am associating the name! Oh my gosh, I am very sorry to hear that! That is pretty tough, and sad, sorry for your loss. Yeah, I gotcha...that is awesome; that is something very meaningful

Johnny---Absolutely LOVE CNY. My husband and I went to the Rochester office for consultation and then to Syracuse for the procedure. Everyone there is great, nurses are super nice and helpful. We had Dr. Greene he was awesome couldnt have asked for a better doctor throughout the who process.
My husband and I went to a few different places before deciding on CNY; but cost was a huge factor also. They have great prices and payment plans, it really did take the stress out of the whole situation.

We are currently in our 2ww!

    Good Luck on your decision

Johnny - I was at the CNY Albany office and really had nothing but positives. I was also successful on my first cycle with them (after 2 failed cycles elsewhere). I do believe they try to cover all the bases. I also found that Dr Grossman was willing to listen to you.

Good luck to you and your partner.

EOE - I keep checking in on this thread from time time and hoping for success for all of you. I am a few weeks away from having my little boy.

Well I gave in this morning and took a HPT. It was a BFN I know I'm still supposed to wait for the beta tomorrow but I am pretty sure this cycle is a fail. Extremely depressed now since this will be it for awhile. Maybe we can look into trying again by the end of the year but for now just blah!! Good luck to everyone else, I still have my fingers crossed for ya.

    Good Luck nurse!!!!

Nicole--Dont get discouraged! We tested this morning too and got BFN. But my husband did a ton of research this morning and there is so many reasons why it could have came out that way. the hpt can only detect when hcg levels are at least 20; and you can be pregnant with a level of 5 or more. So the only way to know for sure is the beta, you & I both have scheduled for tomorrow!!!! So stay positive! I know its a little hard but do things to take your mind off it. I feel like going to bed and not waking up til my beta haha. But we are going tomorrow at 7am. We were a little taken back by the BFN today too but after reading up on all the stories about girls testing negative then having a positive beta I still feel like there is some hope!

    Its not over yet
