New to the forum (pg and m/c mentioned)
I am 34 years old. Here's a bit of my history - started trying to conceive in January 1999, became pg in September 99 with twins (no outside help, natural conception). I lost the twins at 19 weeks. There was IUGR and it does appear that the loss may have been auto-immune in nature. Shortly after the loss, I developed a major autoimmune issue that they labeled as Rheumatic Fever, though I think the dx was wrong. Long story short, the next several years were filled with unsuccessful attempts. I also had endo removed in 2003 and it was moderate. My husband's SA was normal. I have always tested fine on hormonel levels. I have tested negative for APA, lupus, etc. I can't figure out what is wrong with us! We have adopted three children (including a set of twins!!) We feel tremendously blessed and I'm really, really content with my children. But I'm still confused as to why my body won't cooperate and I really want to know what is wrong with me. I have wondered if I might have anti-sperm antibodies. Not even sure how I would go about testing for it. Is this only discovered through a PostCoital test and if so, how is a P/C test performed? Thanks in advance for the help!
