About FSH and LH.
Hi everyone.
I am new and reading all the topics I am sure some one has answer to my doubts for sure. I have a daughter who is 22 months .I am 37 year old and trying for the 2nd baby.I have been trying very seriously for 3-4 months now.First time I did not have any problem conceiving ,it happened just like that without using OPK or any medicine. This time I am regularly using opk, having BD on the right days but still no result.last month in my annual physical exam I had blood test done and my FSh and LH was elevated. But the doctor did not seem concerned as the blood test was done in mid-cycle actually the day I was ovulating. So my LH and FSH were very high. I weaned breastfeeding 3 months back and my periods are regular. This time the period was just due for 8 days so I was very hopeful that I am pregnant although I did not take the HPT.My LH sugre lasts for 6-7 days which is making me concerned if this is the reason for not conceiving.I have no other symptoms of PCOS though which can alleviate the level of LH. Can anyone help me out as what is going on.I would appreciate all kinds of input. Thanks.
