Another attempt at IUI
I recently turned to Follistim in place of Clomid. I have PCOS and have been taking the Follistim shots for almost three weeks. Everything looks good as of today, and my husband is about to give me my shot of Novarel. We are scheduled for an IUI the day after tomorrow at 1:00pm. I've read several threads which give advice on ways to make sure everything is as effective as possible. Any good advice on when to BD, or how long to wait to BD after IUI??? Also, in the past, my DH and I have done IUIs no more than 24 hours after the Hcg injection. Does anyone know how long is too long? Please, just say a little prayer for us (that this IUI is successful and that everything is good).
Thanks so much!!!

Just wondered how it went.
I had my first IUI yesterday and they said to do it that night....which I think makes sense, since we gave the ovidrel shot 36 hours prior and you are supposed to ovulate within 48 hours....so too much later might not catch it... |

I was apparenly surging on my own so my RE told me to go in the next day after HCG for IUI. I was told to do it that night and next morning, followed those instructions to a T. i started clomid, then follistim, menopur and added ganirelix.
