My husband and I have been TTC for a little over a year now. We were doing Clomid with IUI, and the second one worked. Unfortunately the pregnancy ended, and Clomid has since then failed to work properly. I have PCOS have taken Clomid for FOREVER(well over a year) and have recently made the decision to take a crack at Follistim. I have fully researched to pros and cons of Follistim with PCOS, and have to be honest in saying that I'm a bit nervous. I would love to hear some other stories of making the switch, having PCOS and just very general success stories. Thanks to all who read and reply!!!

Child mentioned
Hello,
For me clomid never worked so injections were a wonderful change! I actually saw results and am happy to say after 5+ years of ttc and one miscarraige I do have a wonderful 8 year old son. I was very nervous at first as well. But after a while I looked forward to it knowing I was doing something that was getting me closer to being a mother. GOOD LUCK! Julie P. S. I edited your title to show both a pregnancy and a child is mentioned in this post. |

pg and m/c mentioned
I had one round of Follistim (have PCOS), had way too many follicles, but 3 months later ended up with a natural pg, the follistim kicked my system into functioning. (I later m/ced at 12 weeks, but unrelated to PCOS and follistim.) So it is possible!!
