Bicornuate Uterus
TTC for almost 2 years with 1 miscarriage 18 months ago. I went in today for an SIS. Apparently I have a bicornuate uterus (heart-shaped.) I haven't spoken to the doctor yet - they are sending her the SIS results and she will probably call next week to go over what that means. Any advice would be appreciated...thanks!

I was initially diagnosed with a Bicornate Uterus after an HSG and Ultrasound. My dr sent me for an MRI to confirm and the MRI came back as a Septate Uterus. I'm not too familiar on either yet, but maybe ask for a second opinion.
I as well suffered from 2 miscarriages and I guess a Bicornate is usually 2nd trimester and Septate is 1st trimester losses. Mine were both in the 1st trimester. |
