Increasing Progesterone

Anyone else had to take progesterone supplements ?? If so, what kind & for how long ? I really think that is my problem of TTC #1 for 17 cycles...had bloodwork done yesterday, CD20, & my level was just under 7. ( also I wasnt fasting, have heard yes you need to & no you dont need to)
I am pretty certain I O'ed on CD12(using BBT/OPK). Have to call my doc again next week, wondering if she'll prescribe me progesterone supplement or Clomid ?? Any opinions ?

Hello,
I did take supplements. I used some skin cream that had extra progesterone in it during my cycle. Also during my injectable/IUI cycles I used suppositories.

Yup, I'm using progesterone suppositories post-IUI. Though a little messy, but it is pretty cheap as far as fertility meds go. Just be careful becuase the higher levels of progesterone side effects can mimick symptoms of early pregnancy. Knowing that has helped me manage my expectations
