Short luteal phase
My husband and I have been TTC for close to 2 years, after some blood tests we found that I have short luteal phase of 4 days. I'm seeing my OB next week and I want to go in with as much info as possible. I've been doing a lot of research and found that many others with the same issue was prescribed Clomid or suggested taking vitamin B6. Can anyone share their stories with me.

Clomid often helps with a short luteal phase for sure. Another thing is starting progesterone (usually suppositories after ovulation). (Although since yours is so short, I'm not sure if the progesterone alone would be enough). Good luck!

I also had a luteal phase defect, which was treated with progesterone...it worked for me(the IM shots were what really workes, the suppositories were not that effective for me)
I intended on doing accupuncture, but the appointments never worked with my schedule...fortunatly, from what I've seen/experienced, luteal phase defects are fairly easy to treat
