Hi

Anyone out there have an opinion on RMA New York and/or Weill Cornell?

Thanks

RMA vs. Cornell

We used RMA and were very satisfied. I found them to be very professional, thorough, and dependable.
They are busy (esp. NYC office- I used NYC and White Plains), but always seemed up-to-date on our treatment and never missed a follow-up call.
Feel free to ask other questions of me if you'd like and.... good luck.

Thanks Pj - Had first consult at RMA yesterday with Dr. Copperman - I really liked him and we have decided to move ahead with IVF.

That's great, Calley! Best of luck to you. Think positive.
Dr. Copperman did one of my IUIs, but my main doctor was Dr. Klein. (I think he's mainly in the NYC office on Wednesdays).
What was your dx?

pj, we are unexplained, I have done three iui's - two medicated, at another clinic, both medicated cyles were disspointing as I surged naturally on cd 7 - the folies were not mature enough.

How about yourself? Did you do ivf, or only iui?

That is disappointing about the IUIs.
I did 2 IUIs first, too- both natural- unmedicated, no luck.

With the IVF I had 22 eggs retrieved.
They transferred 5 on day 5.
As I lay on the recovery bed on the day of the ET, I was crying and laughing and feeling very emotional and also had to use the bathroom so badly that I thought all that movement would mean it wouldn't 'stick'.

I am so incredibly grateful.
I hope they can control your surging to do the IVF. They'll keep a close eye on you and monitor you carefully which meant almost daily visits for me.
