Hi,
I am new to this board and was wondering if any of you know of good centers in Northern California?
Does anyone have any suggestions/experiences with Stanford IVF?

I am looking for IVF centers in bay area (around San Jose/ Palo Alto area).
We have narrowed down to Stanford IVF (as they accept our insurance). I would like to know if anyone has been to Stanford IVF and your experiences at the IVF center.

I'm up in the East Bay, so I'm going to go to the Reproductive Science Center. But I have family (in-laws) down your way. They're doctors and have told me that they've heard really good things about the Stanford clinic. They also recommend the Fertility Physicians of Northern California, which is also down your way. Good luck!

Thanks mamamolly!
Is it possible for you to find out from your family (doctors) if they know anything about Stanford versus Fertility Physicians of No.Cal? Do they know/recommend of any docs in Stanford/FPNC who are good?
Thanks for all the help! Good luck to you!

Well, they recommended Dr. David Adamson at Fertility Physicians-- but they're personal friends with him so that's probably part of it (though I think he's also very highly regarded nationally from what they say). On the website of Fertility Physicians of No Cal, it says they do free phone consultations, so maybe give them a call? (But if Stanford takes your insurance and the other doesn't, since they both have good reps, I'd probably go for Stanford)
