hi all, my name is Elaine, I live in Mukilteo, WA. I'm 44, soon to be 45 :sigh I married my soul mate in 04. I have 2 sons from a previous marriage. I am apparently now facing "secondary infertility" My dh has no children of his own, when we met I told him, sorry I had a TL (tubal ligation)...he said, it was ok, there were other ways we could have a child together....that was the start of our journey to date.

When my dh and I decided that we wanted a child together, we went to see an RE in Seattle. She told us our best option was IVF, that was Feb 05.. Long story short, it failed and not much to show for $18,000 We then went to our 2nd option, a TR (tubal reversal), in April 05 we were on our way to NC, to see Dr. Berger, who came highly reccommended Nov 05 I had an HSG to make sure my tubes were open....they were In Dec 05 I got my first BFP, sadly it ended in a suspected ectopic just kept TTC, in July 06 got my 2nd BFP, again, it ended only this time with a miscarriage.

Up to now, we never did any testing...just BD'd alot Just this past cycle, I've started temping, using an O scope, taking account of my CM and when we BD, all on FertilityFriend. On May 23rd, we have a appt. with our RE, we'll take in the cycles/charts and hopefully he'll have a plan of action for us ... I hope. Finally decided that 2 1/2yrs is long enough to "let nature take it's course" "don't think about it, just let it happen" and all the other quotes that we've all heard a million times

As the Board coordinator of this board I just want to say thank you so much for remembering to put l/c mentioned in your title. I really appreciate it and I know others do also.
I am sorry you are now having secondary IF. I had primary as well as now secondary and it is a different sort of pain, that is for sure.
