Anyone with next cycle beginning Mid/End July?

Hi all,
Just wanted to know if there is anyone else beginning their next cycle in the next few weeks. Lovely AF should be arriving in the next week or so, and wanted to see who would be there with me. Always good to have support through the 2WW!!

I should be starting early next week 7/17, but I'm really hoping that I don't. I keep thinking of the things that I'll do different next month, but I need to stay postive and think maybe there won't be a next month. However, I don't want to get my hopes up becasue I always get so crushed!!

Hopefully AF will come this weekend and then I will start Clomid on days 5-9, this time I'm going to have a Trigger to make sure of ovualtion. I have never had one, does anyone know what type of side effects there are?

Mikey - I'm not sure what a Trigger is but I have been on Clomid and this last cycle I got a shot of HCG which does make the folllicle release the egg. It sounds like it's the same thing as what you're getting. As far as side effects, I didn't really have any. I was just sore where I got the shot for a couple of days. I think I had some cramping but I do on Clomid anyway. Now I'm just waiting for a BFP+++++++

I have done the HCG shots too. No real side effect. Like ktapp said...just sore where the shot was done.

P.S. - when my OB did the shot, it was in my butt. With my RE I have to administer it myself, and I can do it in the stomach.

.. Thank you for the info..Me and DH will be away for that weekend, so I was just a little nervous about the side effects.

My next cycle should start around July 19th, the day after my 30th b-day and the day before my 4th wedding anniversary so I am praying that I get a great b-day present of a BFP.

I hope we all do.

Tell me about the HCG shot, my Dr. this past Wednesday upped my clomid to 100 mg for end of July cycle and said if it didn't work he would up it to 150mg for end of Aug cycle and add HCG shot, progesterone and estrogen shots. Anybody else do this?? He also told me I could decide when to take my clomid either cd 3-7, 4-8 or 5-9. He said 3-7 has highest % of twins. I am thinking about doing it then b/c I secretly would love twins. Any thoughts from anyone on that??

Sounds like you are on the same schedule as me! The HCG shot is used to trigger ovulation. Are you also doing an IUI? With my OB I went the next day for the IUI after getting the shot. With my RE, I go 2 days (or 36 hours) after I do the shot. I was also doing Clomid days 3-7, but I have other 'issues'. I am now starting Injectables with my next cycle.

It would be nice if you could join me, but I really hope you get that BFP instead!!

Just took and ept, even though it is really early to, and of course it is a BFN

Of course it is still early?? Maybe I will wait til Tuesday or Wednesday and try again. Have a good weekend.
