Questions ??

I had my iui#2 done today and last cycle was difficult but this one the Dr said that it was almost as if my cervix was closed and he couldn't push through?? Has anyone had this? I am so confused.... he said if this one doesn't work he will have to dialate me on CD3 or 4 so there will be an opening to get too!! He said he finally got the goods in there but I am quite leary that it worked..

With IVF do they insert the eggs the same way? If so would I be better off getting a sarroget sp? mother?

AHHHH it is boggling my mind that I could have such screwed up insides!! DR also thinks this is why I can't conceive....if he can't find his way.... how are the sperm supposed to?

Thanks for reading this long post... Any comments will be appreciated

I'm sorry you're having a rough time with IUIs.

I have no information to share about a closed cervix. The only time my RE said my cervix was high and closed was because he figured I had probably O'd the day before (I had 3 IUIs that cycle) and my uterus was now "closed for business." Aside from a timing issue, I have no idea why a cervix would be closed.

Just wanted to lend some support.
