    Thank you Maria!!

    Hi Maria!!

I have read your mssg. over and over again. It gives me strength, hope, and comfort. Thank you for your advice and touching words of encouragement. I really needed that.

I have started taking prenatal vitamins...I need to get better about my eating habits though. I have a weakness for junk food.

I don't blame you for crying when you found out about the four follies. That had to be nerve wrecking. I guess you just never know. That is what is hard...the unknown. Like you said, the worrying and waiting never stops, probably until you are holding that bundle of joy in your arms. In your case bundleS of joy. That's funny the doctor said that about you having a "bonus." A bonus is always welcome

Maria, I hope you are keeping well and the nausea is disappearing.

    Take care,
    Hopeful

p.s.Please don't apologize for long mssgs. I enjoy hearing from you.

    Hi, Hopeful!

HOW are you? Has AF showed yet? I'm ready for you to get started with your new protocol! It's going to be great--you'll see! And I want all the details!

You eat what you normally eat--I wouldn't make any major changes in your diet right now, just add in some "good stuff."! How about those vitamins? Could they make them any bigger? FYI, if you feel queasy after taking them, I found that taking them at night after dinner instead of the morning helped alot.

Ooh, I wish the nausea would dissappear. It's turned to getting sick at night after a day of nausea! Oh, well--this is what I signed up for, right? I have my first ob appointment on Monday--I'm SOOO anxious! It's funny--you get used to being so monitored by your RE, then they throw you out of the nest! ha! ha!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! How are you feeling?? I hope a little less anxious every day! You'll feel better once you get started, I'm sure!

    xoxoxo

    Hi Maria!!

HOW are you? AF hasn't started yet...

Did this happen to you in your second IVF?? I am getting anxious and I am sure that is not helping, but I just can't help it. I want my AF so bad...I've started imagining/feeling that it has started and then I go and check and there's nothing. Oh well, just have to wait and see. It's weird one point in my life I was hoping there was no AF, b/c I wanted to be preg. Now, here I am hoping and praying for AF. FUnny how life works...

Yeah, you're right those Vitamins are HUGE!!! They have a weird after tasted too. I do take them at night...thanks.

I bet you can't wait to see the ob...good luck with that. I would love to know what he/she says. ...how exciting!!! I hope she can give you something for the nausea. Are you having small meals instead of big ones??

Well, Maria take care of yourself. I'll be hoping and praying for the nausea to stop.

    Hi, Hopeful!

I just saw your other post about AF not showing up yet! When were you 'supposed to' start? To answer your question, after IVF#1, I didn't have to wait for AF to show because it came at 9dp3dt--way before I even went in for my beta, and then I went straight into my next cycle with bcp's for IVF#2, got a short AF after a few weeks, then started stimming.

So sorry you haven't gotten it yet--I know how anxious you are to get started with the process! If you are really late, maybe you should take an HPT????

    Keep me posted!

    xoxo
    Maria

    Hi Maria!!!

So Maria....tomorrow is the big day with the ob!!

Just wanted to wish you the best of luck and you must tell me how it goes, please

Maria...I looked up the abbrev. in the acronyms, but couldn't find beta, sounds like something I should now about And, I'm not sure what 9dp3dt stood for...sorry

Thanks for putting up with me and being my educator

I am 8 days late...don't think there's a need to take HPT b/c I spotted for two days when I was suppose to get my AF(14th & 15th) and then nothing.

Oh well, we'll just wait and see and hope for the best. Don't worry about me, we need to focus on tomorrow's big day!!!

Keep me posted!! Can't wait to hear about your day!!

    p.s.Hope the nausea is minimal

    Take care,
    Hopeful

Hopeful - I am soooo sorry that AF has you on pins and needles. Are you sure you shouldn't take an HPT? It's happened before, my friend!!! At least to be sure? I would think your nurse wouldn't have suggested that if you are 8 days late! Are you normally pretty regular? I know the meds can mess things up, but that's a head-scratcher, for sure!

Beta is the blood test the doc does to test the hcg to determine pregnancy. 9dp3dt means 9 days post 3 day transfer. You'll see that abbreviation alot in the 2 week wait. (of course different days and some have 5 day tranfers)... And don't apologize for not knowing this stuff! I didn't know when I started!

You are so cute to ask about me--I'm getting ready to hop in the shower to go see the ob/gyn. I'm quite anxious! My hope is that, first, of course, that everything is okay with my beans, but secondly, to take me off the progesterone support. I feel like that is what is making me so sick! You are sweet, I will let you know how it goes.

Keep me posted! Remember, I'm here for ya!!!

    xoxo

    VERY curious!!!

    Hiiiii Maria!!

So, how did it go??? Are the beans ok??

Did the ob take you off the progesterone?? You know, you're right about it. When my sister was pregnant, she said that made her feel really sick. So, hopefully your ob took you off of those yucky pills.

Well, Maria...I may take your advice. I think I'll take the HPT tomorrow.

Maria, you've been so supportive and helpful. I really appreciate it.

I just don't want to bother you with my negative feelings, while you're going through a positive experience in your life. Please don't take it the wrong way.

    Thanks for always being there.

Can't wait to hear the news you heard from your ob.

    I will be waiting anxiously!!

    Take care,
    Hopeful xoxoxoxo

    Hopeful,

Please don't apologize about expressing your feelings, and it is NO bother! Remember, I've been in your shoes and I chose to be here! I feel this IF stuff is still my battle and I'm delighted to help in any way I can. The learning never stops!

Beans are doing great (whew!), what a relief! Thank you for asking! Unfortunately, I'm to stay on the progesterone until February 1st! (argh!) Hopeful, thank you for sharing that about your sister--it is so helpful! It's really nice to know that I'm not making things up in my mind! I wasn't crazy about this new practice, so I may do some exploring on other doctors in the area. I liked the doctor, but thought the facilities were sub-standard. Strange--it is part of the larger practice where I did my IVFs and I was very pleased with that...

I'm glad you're going to take an HPT--if it doesn't come back positive, it will probably bring AF on! Then, I'd get on the phone with your RE again and make him/her explain what's going on. Keep me posted! Lots of prayers your way!

    xoxo
    Maria

    That's Fantastic!!!

Thanks Maria for your kind words!!!

I am soooooo happy for you that the little beanies are doing great!!

I am sure you were stressed for this appointment...I'm glad you got a bit of relief. Remember, don't stress yourself out too much. Good Luck looking for a new facility...I hope you find it soon. That's good you're looking early. I am sure your mind will be at ease once you find that perfect facility. Can your doctor recommend another facility?

Thanks for the prayers Maria....I really need them. Took the HPT today, unfortunately it came out negative ...maybe I will get AF tomorrow. This waiting is killing me. I have to wait until the end of the week to talk to RE. Btw, Maria somebody just informed me that I should say cancelled cycle, not BFN...so sorry for posting the wrong acronym. Since we didn't make it to the egg retrieval, it's not a BFN I guess. So sorry about that.

Well, Best of luck to you in finding that perfect doc. and facility, let's hope it is a match made in heaven

Sorry to hear about the progesterone...do you have to take it for your uterine lining??

Well, take care. Lots of hugs!

    Hopeful
