Clomid And Weight Gain

[B]I did 2 cycles of 100 clomid/IUI, during that period I gained a good 15 pounds. Is this due to the Clomid? Did anyone use Clomid and not gain anything at all?

Since being off of clomid(since August) I've lost 25 pounds. But, I can honestly say that I've been working out now.......with the clomid I was not.

During cycles of Clomid/IUI can I still work out to help keep the weight off?

This is definitely been from the Clomid. You gained (if memory serves) less than the "average" but Clomid is well known for making women pack on pounds. You are definitey okay to exercise during cycles of IUI with Clomid, but check to make sure with your doc.

Glad- Oh boy, does Clomid make you gain weight! UGH! I gained about 17 pounds so far over about 7 months. It's horrible. Makes me hungry and tired. Bad combination! You can work out during IUI cycles as long as you don't do anything outside your normal range of stress. Keep it moderate and you should be fine.

I gained 20--they say calculate about 5 pounds per cycle, which was on target for me... ARgh! Great job on the weight loss! I haven't shed a pound yet (on to other more aggressive treatments, though). Good luck!
