symptoms of clomid after O?

Hey Ya'll I have a question! I have ovulated, and I am about 11dpo or 14dpo (internet sight is telling me one day, and I am thinking the other), and I have been having a lot of cramps, heartburn, headaches and really engorged achy boobs and nipples. I was positive I could be pg until I started getting BFN and reading around that clomid can leave some false pregnancy symptoms. So does clomid leave lasting effects in your system even after you ovulated, which causes me to think its possible pg symptoms? I just dont want to get my hopes up to high and I just want some answers of why I am feeling this way and getting BFN. Thank you for ANY enlightenment!!!
Amy

I am having similar symptoms after 150mg clomid. Today is cd26 (I don't know when I o'd) I am going to start taking test tommorow morning (I say start because I am expecting a BFN this early in my cycle so I'll take another and another). I feel really positive about this month but the same as you I am wary that I am faking myself out. If you really are 11 dpo than that might be the reason for BFN - with our bodies - who knows right?

oh my gosh sweet em you made me feel a lot better. I seriously thought I was the only one on this planet that is feeling like this!!! I am on my first rounf 50 mg of clomid, so I have no idea how one is supposed to feel after clomid or how my body reacts to it. I dont know, I am just so confused. I just wish I would get an answer either way!! I am so glad I have you to share my feelings with now!!! Feel free to do the same!
Thanks again
Amy

I had a lot of pg like symptoms on 50mg clomid-after O was worse than before. My bbs killed me-they felt swollen, hard and ached non stop!! Then I was motion sick to the point where I couldn't wear my glasses (they are for up close work and throw off your depth perception when not doing up close work). I had the motion sickness starting a week after O. I had a lot of discomfort (achiness/cramping) in my pelvic area after O-come to find out I had 2 cysts. Anyway-I know what to expect this month (I just finished my last 100mg dose Clomid yesterday) so hopefully I won't be fooled into thinking I am pg agian this month. I am very optomistic but don't want to set myself up again for the let down. I hope that you girls are experiencing the true thing!! Please keep us posted!! good luck!!

Ya - I did take a HPT last night and of course it was BFN, and yesterday on my way home I started to feel things more like PMS but I really can't tell. Last night was a crappy night in general so today I feel more upbeat and ready for both a BFP or AF. (We'll see how long that lasts )

I am SO ready for BFP or AF!!! Last night I was just crabby and cried to my mother. I just want one or the other. I am glad to have someone to go through this with!!! Yes, I had that experience with Clomid, too. It's really frustrating to have your body telling you one thing (the thing you're hoping for!) and have reality be another thing... Anyway, now that I KNOW to expect those symptoms, at least I don't get my hopes up (at least not more than usual.)

I "hate" people who don't have to deal with this. Not only am I jealous that they actually have kids but that they don't have to deal with all the little things that make you want to ring your own neck. Imagine realizing you are a few days late, taking a HPT and getting a positive - first try. GRRRRRRR.

Ugh, I hear ya. I am so sick of this! I dont know what to think anymore. Sometimes I swear I could be pg, and then I think about it, and I am like oh golly, its probably just clomid. It makes me SOOOO frustrated. Yes I am so sick of people who try a month or a couple and then be like oh! look at that I got a positive! well I be! And here I am sitting here analyzing any little burp, cramp, or dizzy feeling. Yah, so I am getting sick of this. I hate it when I express my thoughts to family and they are like take it one day at a time. Ands its like what do you think I am doing! Yah, so at least I am not as crabby and down as I was yesterday! haha. Its making me feel better to get this all out. lol
