Tipped uterus

I had a HSG done a few days ago and the radiologist said he had a hard time b/c my uterus was tipped. I've been reading up on this and it seems as though it's quite common and not a fertility problem (unless you have endo or something like that)...anyone have any info on or have a tilted uterus?
I had a few responses on another site where women had a tilted uterus but got pg easily.
I've read about lying on your stomach after intercourse.

I had a tilted uterous but it was pretty severe. I was told at my first gyno exam at age 16 that it would hurt my chances of conceiving. And it may have. I had the problem fixed surgically just over a year ago on the recommendation of my RE. That procudure seemed simple enough but I have to tell ya, it hurt in one spot in my back/side for about 10 months. Recovery was long. The pain was not severe but definately uncomfortable. When I had my surgery, also had removal of endo.

I wish you the best.

I also have a tipped uterus. My RE told me it's like eye color -- it's just one of those things that's different for every person. It can be a sign of endometrios, which after a I had a lap, I discovered I had. My RE also told me a tipped uterus doesn't affect fertility, but he did recommend lying on my stomach after intercourse. Sorry if TMI -- but I also asked him if some positions were better than others (never in my life did I think I would be having that discussion!!LOL) and he said that it didn't make any difference.

I just tried the "other" position then went to sleep on my stomach - figured it doesn't hurt to see if that theory works...

It supposedly gives the sperm a better chance of getting to the right place if you have a tipped uterus - they are closer to the entryway.
